Staff Evaluation

Teacher Development and Evaluation Components

 

Peer Review (staff not on formal review will be observed by a peer 2 times per year)

  • staff will choose who will observe them

  • staff will identify what they would like feedback on and set a time for the observation to occur

  • observation will occur

  • staff will follow up with meeting to share feedback

  • staff will complete the shared TDE Peer Review Document noting date, time and staff involved

 

Formal Observations

  • 3 observations per year for first 3 years of employment at WCED

  • 2-3 observations per year for staff employed 4 or more years at WCED

  • pre-observation questions-observation-post observation reflection/meeting

  • observations will be set up with a WCED Administrator

  • Due Process File Review

  • Review of performance specific to skills required within your job description through surveys

 

IGDP

  • completed and submitted to your supervisor by mid September

  • monthly reminder to reflect on your goal/document will include space to write a reflection

  • review with your supervisor in March/April

 

PLC

  • continue with 8 hours of learning as a community on a topic that impacts student engagement

 

END OF YEAR DOCUMENT: verifying completion of TDE requirements; this document will go in personnel files.  Staff not completing TDE requirements are subject to disciplinary action.
