Karol Bischoff-Klug

Senior High Instructor

2014-2015 School Year

My name is Karol Bischoff-Klug.I graduated from Shakopee High School in 1976, then lived in Sweden as a Rotary Exchange Student. Back in Minnesota the following year, I pursued a medical degree and a music minor at Winona State University. Two years later, I transferred to Mankato State University, and  graduated in 1982 licensed as both elementary and high school instructor. My teaching areas are in Special Education,Theatre/ Speech/FineArts/Communications with strong competencies in History/Social.

The following years I pursued teaching positions throughout west and south Minneapolis areas, by substituting in many diverse subject areas.  This continual learning curve taught me multiple skills which  I use in my classroom today. I am indebted to many fine educators who graciously taught me; and those that shared their wisdom and craft with me when I was establishing my career.

This is my 20th year at the ALC in Melrose.  My classes have varied over the years but currently, I teach in the English and Fine Arts areas. The past and present students who value education and who earnestly strive to invest their time here are the gems that inspire me.
